Warm Reflection
While walking along the boardwalk of Huntley Meadows Park at golden hour, the sun perfectly illuminated the fall tree line revealing rich oranges, reds, & browns.
The winds which created ripples in the water vanished moments before I took this shot which created an almost mirror like quality to the image.
I removed shades of blue from the sky to emphasize this effect & bring more attention to the fall color’s warmth.
Many times in my life in the face of turbulence, I’ve had the instinct to simply let things be to allow the natural clarity of my mind & the situation to reveal itself; just as the smoothness of this pond was revealed to me.
This was a profoundly meditative moment in my life as my mind was absolutely still upon taking this photograph, & I’m happy to share is as a piece of visual art with you.
